The Titan Excellence Fund is administered by the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation.

Upon reaching the necessary $25,000 mark, the Titan Excellence Fund will become an endowed fund, whose payouts will be used to support school programming and provide for classroom equipment and supplies at Traverse City West Senior High.

The yearly interest will be disseminated through a small grant process, with Traverse City West faculty and students applying for funding for projects within the wide mission of the Titan Excellence Fund.

Some things that might be considered within the purpose of the Titan Excellence Fund:

• Provide for classroom supplies
• Supplement discretionary counselor funding for needy students
• Defray the costs of educational trips
• Purchase classroom equipment
• Support teacher education
• Finance student-sponsored events
  

A board consisting of the TC West Principal, teachers, students and members of the community will make the grant recommendations to the Board of the Community Foundation on a yearly basis.
